He was named designer of the Anne Klein Collection four years later. Over the next few years, Richard Tyler Couture laid claim to his impeccable tailoring and modern, elegant designs, which earned him three CFDA awards, as well as a Michelangelo Shoe Award for his debut footwear collection. His primer standards, including hand finished detailing, have made him a favorite among astute lovers of haute couture. He is continually expanding, as of recent debuted Richard Tyler Bride, handbag and scarf collections, and Tyler, his bridge line. In each of his collections, Tyler emphasizes quality, construction and fit, melding the best of American design and European Couture tradition.
