Georges Chakra left for Canada where he earned a degree as a fashion designer from the Canadian Fashion Academy.
Since 2001, Chakra has presented his haute couture collection twice per year during Paris Fashion Week. His collections are always one of the most imaginative with elaborate details, unique finishes and intricate designs. In 2009 the demand for Chakra's creations in American led to the launch of his ready to wear collection, EDITION Georges Chakra, which he presents during New York Fashion Week.
Chakra's collection can be found at specialty boutiques and retailers around the world and his designs have adorned some of the most fashionable celebrities, socialites & royals alike. The darlings of Hollywood including Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce Knowles, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, Emily Blunt, Kristen Bell and Elizabeth Banks have all made lasting impressions on the red carpet in the designer's chic gowns and dresses.
