Before Andrew became a master of menswear, he designed women's ready to wear at a French designer label. It wasn't until his stint designing menswear with a contemporary American brand that a knack and fondness for the category was revealed. Focusing on his unique design aesthetic the Buckler label was launched in 2001 and has since grown into a full fledged lifestyle brand offering made to measure suiting, denim, knits, accessories and men's furnishings. Buckler's innovative style caught the attention of the CFDA and Andrew was named a member in 2008.
Aside from brick and mortar locations in London, Toronto and New York, Buckler is sold in major department stores including Nordstrom, Harvey Nichols as well as specialty stores throughout the United States, Europe and Canada. A media favorite, Buckler has been featured in top tier media outlets such as Women's Wear Daily, GQ, and Blackbook and Nylon Guys.
Andrew currently lives and works in New York. He remains very hands on with all aspects of design. Ultimately, Buckler executes his vision; a brand for blokes.
